World Mental Health Day(10th October)
World Mental Health Day is observed on 10th October every year. The theme for this year is 'Dignity in mental health'.
Thousands of people with mental health conditions around the world are deprived of their human rights. Every individual has the right to live a life of dignity and people can feel deprivation in several ways. The dignity of many people with mental health conditions is not respected.
As professionals in the field of disability it is important to ensure that we provide support and care for people with mental health conditions.
