The study should adhere to ethical guidelines by meeting regular/ mandatory requirements. Special issues related to the topic , if any, should also be considered.
Research reports are to be written in APA style, consistent with the rules of writing established in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition (2020)
Research paper should include:

2) Introduction with conceptual background/context (i.e., specifying what led to the study).

'Standardisation of Seguin Form Board test for children with hearing impairment in Trivandrum' is an ongoing research project undertaken by the psychology department at NISH. Centre for Disability Studies, Trivandrum is providing financial assistance for this project which aims to create the norms for the Seguin Form Board test by assessing children with hearing impairment of the age range 3.6 to 10 years in Trivandrum. The subjects include school going subjects with a hearing loss of 60 dB or above studying in a special or regular school in Trivandrum.
The present project aims to create the norms for the Seguin Form Board test by assessing children with hearing impairment in the age group 3.6 to 10 years in Trivandrum.
Method
a. Participants
School level subjects with only hearing impairment studying in a special or regular school in Trivandrum. The subjects include both male and female subjects with a hearing loss of 60 dB or above of the age range 3.6 - 10 years.
b. Test
Seguin Form Board test is a simple with easy-to-comprehend instructions developed by Seguin. It is a non verbal or performance test that measures intelligence which is adapted and standardised with Indian norms for children with hearing. The target age group is between 3 years 6 months to 10 years.
The subject has to place the wooden blocks arranged in a uniform pattern of three stacks back into the wooden frame as fast as possible. The time taken to complete the task is recorded in seconds for three trials.
c. Procedure
The project is to be carried out in three major phases involving a time period of one academic year.
