NISH along with the Directorate of Social Justice is conducting 'first of its kind' online Interactive Disability Awareness Seminar (NIDAS). The programme is of 2.30 hrs duration with an hour discussion.

The twentieth seminar dealt with Importance of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy in Children with Hand Functioning Impairment”. This was handled by Ms. Shyni M.T, Physiotherapist, NISH and Ms Neethu Thampi, Occupational therapist, NISH. It wason 17th June, 2017.

This online live seminar hosted at NISH commenced at 10.30 am. This was simultaneously presented at all the District Child Protection Units (DCPU) offices for audiences present there via internet.

The two and a half - hour programme in Malayalam aims to reach out across the state to larger numbers of parents and caregivers, who are not aware of the implications of disability.

Participants should either have a personal computer, laptop or tablet along with reliable high speed internet connectivity, webcam and microphone.
