Rejitha is a mental health social worker, actively involved in the upliftment of the differently abled to enable them to enter into mainstream life. She has been working with NISH since 2008. Her professional interests include Community Based Rehabilitation(CBR) and working with families of children having hearing impairment, autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation,learning disability and multiple disabilities.

Saranya started her journey with NISH in 2013 as a social worker. Before joining NISH, she had pursued short term internships with different projects of the Central Government and Sakhi Women’s Resource Centre. She completed her post-graduation in Social Work at Loyola College of Social Sciences. In the present role, as a social worker, she provides assistance to children with speech and language impairment and their parents. She manages to have an eclectic sense of working with individuals in different settings. She has experience in training, presentation, and documentation. She loves to work in a multicultural learning environment where she can meet and interact with people from diverse background and experiences.

Jismon started his professional career as a social worker at NISH in 2015. He holds a master degree in social work from Tirpude College of Social Work Nagpur. His specialisation is medical and psychiatry. He organizes the visits to NISH, making it a meaningful experience for the visitors. His interest is to work with the highest of the professional standards and partner in innovative efforts to uplift the life quality of the underprivileged. Jismon has coordinated a disability census in Kulathoor in a systematic and effective manner.

Joby has been working with NISH since 2016. Before joining NISH, he was working with various projects of the Government of Kerala. He also worked as a school counselor in Kerala Government Model Tribal Residential School, Njaraneeli and Sree Chithra Poor Home, Trivandrum. He is very much interested to work with differently abled children and their parents.

Anupa started her career in the field of social work in 2015. In 2016, she joined NISH as a social worker. Before joining NISH, she was in associated with the Central Government Project, National Family Health Survey-4 as Team Supervisor. She was involved in a mini research study in Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences(PIMS) and in community-based programs in National Health Mission

Parvathy completed MSW from Kerala University, Kariavattom Campus in 2015. She joined NISH in 2016 and is working as a social worker. She has served as Female investigator in the National Family Health Survey. In National Health Mission, she was involved in evaluation study of programs implemented in various community based hospital settings and agency studies in various settings including correctional, rehabilitation, curative and preventive settings. She is involved in the outreach programs of NISH and coordinates various programs.
