unnamed5Dr Suja. K. Kunnath currently serves as Associate Professor and Head at the Department of Neurodevelopemtnal Sciences, NISH. She joined NISH on 10-6-2010.  She received her PhD Degree in Speech Language Pathology from National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore in 2006. She completed MSc in Speech and Hearing from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysore  in 1999. She has more than 18 years of teaching, research and clinical experience. Her current responsibility includes teaching postgraduate students of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. Her clinical interests include Autism Spectrum Disorders, Language and Learning, and Global Developmental Delay.

She has more than 7 years of teaching and research experience and 9 years of clinical experience.  Her current academic responsibilities include teaching postgraduate students in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology courses. Her clinical interests include Autism Spectrum Disorders, Language and Literacy, and Child Language Disorders. She is the supervisor in charge of Autism Spectrum And Related Disorders Unit

She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from NISH in 2008 and MSc in Speech Language Pathology from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysore in 2010. She has more than 6 years of teaching and research experience and 8 years of clinical experience.  Her current academic responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology courses. Her clinical interests include Language and Literacy, Child Language Disorders, Speech Sound Disorders, Bilingualism, Phonology and Motor Speech Disorders. She is the supervisor in charge of LLEaRN Lab and Child Language Disorders (CLD) Unit.

Ms Swathi G currently works as Senior Lecturer/ Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist at the Department of Neurodevelopmental Sciences in NISH. She has completed her Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Manipal School of Allied Health Sciences , Manipal in 2012. In 2013, she joined NISH in the Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. She has more than 6 years of teaching and clinical experience. Her current academic responsibilities includes teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students courses in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. She holds certifications in Oral Placement Therapy ( Level 3) offered by Talktools, USA; Sensory Integration (Level 3) by University of Southern California Chan Division; and Pediatric Feeding Course by Talktools, USA. She is specialized in assessment and intervention of infants, toddlers and school-aged children with feeding problems, oral sensory issues and oral motor issues. She is well versed in the use of low-tech and high-tech devices for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She is the supervisor in charge of the Unit for Motor Speech Disorders such as cerebral palsy and apraxia of speech; and the Unit for Augmentative and Alternative Communication.

Ms Arya Manoharan currently serves as Lecturer / Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist at the Department of Neuro Developemtnal Sciences in NISH. She joined NISH in July 2017 .  She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from NISH in 2006 and Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology  in 2008 from AYJNIHH, SRC. She has more than 7 years of teaching and research experience and 10 years of clinical experience. Her current responsibility include teaching undergraduate students, courses in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and clinical supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students in Audiology and Speech Language pathology.  She has extensive experience in providing transdisciplinary intervention for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Multiple Disabilities. She is trained in generating Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for persons with special needs Her clinical interests include Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Literacy Training for children with complex communication needs, Oro-sensorimotor Therapy and Feeding Issues Related To Autism. She is the supervisor in charge of Autism Spectrum and Related Disorders (ASRD) Unit and Motor Speech Disorders Unit.
