Job assured skill programs for adults with Autism, CP, ID, LD

NISH invites applications from individuals with Autism (Mild and Moderate Level), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Intellectual Disability (ID) Mild, and Specific Learning Disability (SLD) for a job-assured, NSDC-certified level-3 Finisher and Packer skill development program under apparel sector.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must hold a UDID card / Valid Disability Certificate
• Physical requirements for the vocation:

a. Can stand on their own and walk with the use of a hand-held mobility device, such as a cane or crutch or independently manage wheelchair mobility

b. Hand function: The person handles most objects, but can be with some reduced quality or speed

• Minimum Age: 18 years before 30^th Nov 2024
• Education: A minimum of six years of continuous school education.
• Trainable
• Willing to work anywhere in Kerala for at least one year.

The selection process, including assessment and interview, will take place on November 28, 2024, at the NISH campus in Akkulam, Thiruvananthapuram. Prospective candidates are requested to attend, the interview process beginning at 9:30 a.m.
