NIDAS 75: Guidance on reducing the issues and challenges encountered by family members of children with disabilities
Parents and other family members play a crucial role in supporting the development of children with disabilities. However, they often face significant challenges in meeting their children's needs and expectations, and they receive limited support from their families and society at large. These difficulties are compounded by a lack of information and resources, which can significantly impact their quality of life. To address these issues, it is vital to acknowledge the struggles that parents and family members face and provide them with the necessary resources and information to overcome these challenges and support their children's growth and development effectively.
