Any research study done at NISH or by NISH faculty and students should be submitted using the research submission form named ''Research Review Authority for Research - 2025'. The team will review and suggest modifications or corrections as required.

The study should adhere to ethical guidelines by meeting regular/mandatory requirements. Special issues related to the topic , if any, should also be considered.

Research reports are to be written in APA style, consistent with the rules of writing established in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition (2020).

Research papers should include:

1) Title relating to the research

2) Introduction with conceptual background/context (i.e., specifying what led to the study).

a) Relevant variables with operational definitions and key terms.

b) Research question/objectives/hypotheses/aim

c)  Relevance of the study

3) Method

a) Participants

b) Materials

c)  Procedure

4)  Results: Analytical methods (How the data generated can be processed to obtain answers to the research questions)

5)  References

6) Appendix

Include all the testing materials with Informed Consent/ Assent Form in English / Regional language

Allow at least 6 weeks time to get the proposal approved at NISH, hence plan accordingly. Submitting information correctly the first time itself can speed up the process.
