The third speech of NIM-IS is scheduled for June 23rd 2017 at 9am. Venue is Marigold. Latecomers can watch from Orchid. The talk will be of one hour duration. The speaker is Ms Tiffany Brar.
Ms Tiffany Brar is an Indian community service worker who has been blind since childhood. She is the founder of the Jyothirgamaya Foundation, a non-profit organization whose stated mission is to help blind. She envisages a society without any physical or psychological barriers towards the blind – a barrier free environment where the blind can walk freely, can travel, can work, think for themselves, and live proud and dignified lives like other citizens. She is striving to bring a change in the society which constantly interpret what a blind person can do and what they can't.
I invite you all to attend positively. Your presence will definitely encourage the speaker. You can also get an insight.
