Dementia is a long-standing disease of the brain mostly seen in elderly age. The most important symptom is memory loss, however impairment of other cognitive domains as well as behavioural abnormalities are seen. Even though the majority of the dementia patients cannot be cured at the moment early diagnosis and symptomatic treatment are important in alleviating suffering to the patient and family. With an increase in the elderly population in the society, the number of patients with Dementia will increase phenomenally in developing countries like in India in years to come and is hence a major public health problem.
Individual registrants require a high-speed internet connection with Laptop/PC/Mobile phone/Tablet to watch the webinar. A microphone and webcam are required for the interactive session after the one-hour presentation by the speaker. Or the interested participants can register via telephone on the number: 0471-2944675
