Leprosy is a condition affecting the peripheral nervous system and skin. It results in neuropathy (dysfunction of peripheral nerves causing numbness or weakness) and leads to disabilities or deformities. The community still perceives leprosy with a lot of misconceptions. Though we had declared that leprosy is completely eradicated, many new cases are being identified, which is a matter of concern. Hence, early identification and providing the required treatment is more than essential in our community.
Individual registrants require a high-speed internet connection with laptop/PC/Mobile phone/Tablet to watch the webinar. A microphone and webcam are required for the interactive session after the one-hour presentation by the speaker. Or the interested participants can register via telephone on the number: 0471-3066675.
