NISH Interactive Disability Awareness Seminar (NIDAS)
NISH along with the Directorate of Social Justice is conducting 'first of its kind' online Interactive Disability Awareness Seminar (NIDAS). The programme is of 2.30 hrs duration with an hour discussion.
The Twenty-fourth seminar dealt with “Management in children with Specific Language Impairment”. This was handled by Ms. Sreeba Sreedhar, Audiologist and Speech Language pathologist, NISH, on 21st October 2017
This online live seminar hosted at NISH commenced at 10.30 am. This was simultaneously presented at all the District Child Protection Units (DCPU) offices for audiences present there via internet.
The two and a half - hour programme in Malayalam was aimed to reach out across the state to larger numbers of parents and caregivers, who are not aware of the implications of disability.
