In NISH, Physiotherapy unit started in the year 2013 and is managed by a highly qualified, skilled and experienced physiotherapist.
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession that is primarily concerned with the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention.

Facilities
A fully equipped structured environment, particularly for children with special needs, which helps child development in their gross and fine motor skills. It also provide a wonderful opportunity for children to improve their muscle strength, balance and co-ordination.
Sensory integration Room
A well designed multi-sensory room enable the children to explore a variety of sensory experiences, providing new ways of encouraging learning, motor development, cognitive development, language and social interaction skills. It can open up a whole new world for children with sensory processing difficulties, cognitive and physical impairments
Virtual Reality
The person interacts with a multidimensional, multisensory computer generated virtual environment, which can be explored in real time. The technology enable the person to work on therapeutic exercises to improve function .It also offers the capacity to individualize treatment needs while providing increased standardization of assessment and training protocols.
